How You Can Help the Office Run Smoothly!
You play an important part in ensuring that we can deliver health care to you, and to all our other patients as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
Here is how you can help!
- Please do not drop in for an appointment, call first
- Please ask the receptionist if you wish for more than one family member to be seen. We will try to accommodate you if time permits. However, you may be asked to book another appointment for the others in your family.
- Please cancel if you are unable to attend so that the appointment can be opened up for someone else
- Please find out when to call back for follow-up appointments as you leave the office
- General physical checkups - these can be booked same-day with our Open Access system. Please note that you can still pre-book, but there will be at least a one to two month wait for these if pre-booked.
- For urgent appointments, please call as early in the day as possible, ideally before 10 AM.
- Please make other non-urgent calls in the afternoons if possible, when the phones are less busy
- Please note that while we are moving to more same-day bookings with our Open Access sytem, there are still opportunities to pre-book appointments if necessary. However, there there may be a several week wait for these non-urgent pre-booked appointments.
- Please note that messages left on the answering machine will NOT be returned. Only leave a message to cancel an appointment or to notify the office about an issue which does not require a response.
